Why
Do We Have Seasons?
In many countries there are seasons – spring, summer,
autumn, and winter.
Why? The answer is very simple!
The earth turns round the sun, that’s why only part of
the earth gets a lot of warmth from the sun. This is the part nearest to the
sun. Thus different countries come into the sunlight at different time.
When it is summer in the north, it is winter in the
south. When it is summer in the south, it is winter in the north.
